VEA Capital Partners is appointing a Private Credit Fund Manager.

We are seeking an experienced investment professional to lead the origination, underwriting, execution and ongoing management of private credit investments across our direct lending platform.

This role sits at the centre of our credit strategy and will work closely with the Investment Committee and Managing Partners to deploy capital into senior secured, mezzanine and structured opportunities, with a clear focus on downside protection and risk-adjusted returns.

The appointed Fund Manager will be responsible for:

• ⁠ ⁠Executing the fund’s private credit strategy in line with mandate
• ⁠ ⁠Building and managing a diversified loan portfolio across sectors and geographies
• ⁠ ⁠Leading end-to-end transaction processes from deal sourcing through to exit
• ⁠ ⁠Structuring investments with appropriate security and covenant frameworks
• ⁠ ⁠Monitoring portfolio performance, credit quality and compliance
• ⁠ ⁠Implementing robust credit risk and governance frameworks
• ⁠ ⁠Supporting investor reporting and stakeholder engagement
• ⁠ ⁠Contributing to platform growth, team development and future fund strategies

We are looking for a commercially astute credit investor with a proven track record across private credit, leveraged or structured finance, who brings disciplined underwriting standards and a long-term capital preservation mindset.

Candidates should have:

• ⁠ ⁠10+ years’ experience in credit investing or related disciplines
• ⁠ ⁠Strong financial modelling and credit underwriting capability
• ⁠ ⁠Experience in structuring and negotiating secured transactions
• ⁠ ⁠A high-integrity, entrepreneurial approach suited to a lean investment platform

Relevant professional qualifications (CA, CFA, MBA or equivalent) will be advantageous.
